  8. security elements may still be in the area.

  10. Mission: First squad, secure US Convoy at grid WS663433, 
  11. and patrol surrounding area for remaining enemy forces.

  13. Enemy: Squad-sized force with advanced marksmanship team. 
  14. Enemy reaction forces are less than ten minutes away.

  16. Troops: Infantry squad of the 2nd Battalion, 22nd 
  17. Infantry Regiment with advanced marksmanship team.

  19. Terrain: High-altitude mountain road twisting around a 
  20. chasm.  Adverse weather conditions (high winds and fog) 
  21. prevent air support.  Sparse vegetation and rocky cliffs 
  22. with snow covered ledges.
